A social movie mashup

Born out of inquisitiveness this is the result of my experiments with Twitter API and Blogger Gadget development platform. Here I present a social movie watchlist where you can share the list of all the movies that you have watched recently. And for that you don't even have to revisit the app every time and add any new movie that you have watched. What you simply need is to tweet the name of the movie with a hash-tag "#watching".

So If you are
  1. a movie buff
  2. an avid tweeter
  3. and you own a blog
Available only for Blogger at present (Wordpress plugin coming soon !), then this gadget is a keeper. Just integrate it with your blog and share the names of the last few movies that you have watched with all your blog visitors.

Currently this gadget will read few of your last tweets and find the tweets with tags "#watching" or "#watched" extract the name of the movie from tweet and display it. If you have mentioned any link into the tweet then it will link the name of that page with the name of the movie. So what you can do is tweet the name of the movie together with url of its website or the url of its IMDB page and the rest will be taken care by this widget.

In order to install this gadget got to your Blogspot blog's dashboard. Open Page element tab and click on "Add a Gadget". Now select "Add your own" on the left hand sidebar of the new window and enter "http://www.saketsaurabh.in/twitter/blogger/" in the text-box. Click "Add by URL" and here you go. Now edit the settings of Gadget and click on save. You have successfully installed this ne Gadget.

Now you are ready to share while you watch a new movie. Just remember to tweet every time you are watching one.

Why IBM's Extreme Blue is extreme ?

Now when I look back at last one year of my life, and try recall which would be the best thing that happened to me, then I without taking a fraction of second I will say Extreme Blue. Extreme Blue 2010 was really an experience of lifetime. Here I will try to help you understand what's so extreme about Extreme Blue.

  1. Extreme Projects: The best thing about the extreme blue program is the project. Interns get to work on a real-time project which is either a client project or a research project in any of the cutting edge research areas. All the projects are selected by the IBM employees after a rigorous selection procedure carried out by them and only the best few make it to become an EB project. All the projects are selected with one key thing in mind and that is Innovation. All the projects are open for a lot of innovation from interns and often IBM convert them into some form of IP. Through the program, interns have submitted more than 400 patent disclosures and have made more than sixty open source contributions to the open source community. They helped create solutions for key clients and bring-to-market the next generation of IBM products. And all of this in just 12 weeks.
  2. Extreme Technologies: Then the next most important thing is the technologies that interns get to work on. IBM provides students with all the cutting edge technology available to the interns whether in terms of software or hardware.
There were many times during the project when I needed certain hardware and all I needed was just to make a request and I could get access to the best possible system that suits my requirements. I had access to machines from Bangalore to Ottawa at the prime of my project. In terms of technology I was exposed to some of the cutting edge work that is going on in Virtualization. My project helped me to learn a lot about Linux Kernel, The IBM's J9VM and many key concepts of modern virtualization techniques.
Interns get opportunity to work on technologies like Cloud Computing, Web 2.0, Artificial Intelligence and petabyte-scale data analysis.
  3. Extreme Connectivity which leads to Extreme Guidance: After having an extreme project and some extreme technologies to work on, the next thing that any intern would wish is Extreme Mentoring, and it is exactly what he gets! The mentors are very helpful and I must admit they are the masters of their game, so interns can always count on them. Apart from the mentors assigned to projects, interns can always seek help from any other person who they think may be helpful. Everybody is very helpful and the EB tag will always help you to get their attention ;)
During my project there were instances when I took help from experts of particular field sitting across the globe (From China to Canada) and got the solutions to my problems in moments. Once I had trouble with one of the software which was still a beta release and my mentor connected directly to Author and Architect of the software!
  4. Extreme Visibility: Next thing that any intern would expect from an internship is visibility of work and I feel there could be no other internship opportunity which can provide you such a platform to present yourself among the best in the industry. The projects of Extreme Blue are in limelight since their beginning and the leaders of the field love to track them. The Extreme Blue program culminates with a ceremony called as the Extreme Blue Expo where interns get the opportunity to present their work in front of the executive leaders of IBM.
During my project I got the opportunity to present project to likes of Director, Java technology at IBM and CTO of cloud computing at IBM. And the Expo was attended by many prominent IBMers including the top most officials from management as well as HR ;).
  5. Extreme Fun: Other than all extremities of project the EB team also works hard so that interns can have extreme fun. They organise fun trips where interns can chill out during weekends.
Other than these fun trips there are other fun activities that interns may enjoy. They even celebrated my birthday by throwing a treat to all the interns and mentors and also gave me a birthday gift.
  6. Extreme Exposure: If still someone is not satisfied or expect more, then interns also have the opportunity to attend talks delivered by prominent IBMers on various cutting edge technologies which are delivered exclusively for the EB interns. Interns also get to know more about different divisions inside IBM by visiting them and meeting people who work there. Hence, no doubt interns are exposed to IBM and its work culture to best possible extent.

I think these are the sufficient reasons to make any internship program extreme. At least for me I had an extreme experience at Extreme Blue 2010. Apart from working on an extreme project and having extreme fun, I made some extreme friends and worked with an extreme team! Extreme Blue was the best learning experience till date in my life.

Aaah.. I forgot one very important characteristic !! STIPEND !! No doubt it is extreme too, IBM pays well in its premiere internship program :)

I am not a blogger but I want to be one :)

Its been a very busy year since I made my last post to this blog, please don't count the one I made last month mentioning the internship scenario at IT-BHU, it was just an attempt to cover up my absence here. I decide it almost every holidays that I must write a blog post everyday, because I have so much to share with everyone and I want to narratae my story to as many people as I could. But this enthusiasm is very short-living and often ends within days, but this time (fingers crossed :P ) I am damn serious !

I have a lot to tell and share, first I will begin with my different experiences of last one year. Hope you guyz could stick with it :)

And yes!! I planning to get this T-Shirt ! What do you feel about it ?

Summers at OAT

This was written by me on 6th of July, but I was not able to post it due to my busy travel schedules and lack of resources.
So finally my summer internship at One Associates Technologies Pvt Ltd is over. So I thought I must share my experience. OAT is a small startup by Mr. Neeraj Kapoor (an IT BHU alumnus) and Mr. Himanshu Singh (IIT Kanpur alumnus). The company provides services in the mobile technology and web development. During my two months internship I got opportunity to work on some very exciting projects. My first project was the promotional website of motion picture Damage (http://www.damagethemovie.com) starring Stone Cold Steve Austin. The movie is scheduled to be released in January 2009. Working on this was fun for a Stone Cold fan like me , I loved this project.
My second assignment was corporate website of OAT itself (http://www.one-associates.com) this project was not that engrossing as the previous one but I enjoyed doing it. Both websites were made using ASP .NET with client side scripting using EMCA.I even designed this logo which is now official logo of OAT.
Then temporarily I was on a project of website for Nasser Entertainment (http://www.moviesfortv.com) , but I requested the company to move me from this project to some other where I could get greater opportunity to learn. So I was assigned the project of CRM application for a leading organization in India. This was a SOA based SaaS which was developed right from scratch by me and Vidit bhaiya. The best was part was that we worked on a very new technology and in a live project all by ourselves with liberty to make slightest decision by ourselves. And at the end we got the opportunity to meet the client for demo of software. This was the bumper bonus because that was great experience to actually present your software’s demo to client.
So overall I had a great experience at my summers. With an expenditure of around 10k which includes local site seeing and attending AR Rahman live in concert ,this was not a bad deal !!

Tuesday, 30 June 2009

Yesterday was a great day to learn !!

Ya ... and I think it was the best day of my 2 months summer internship. We went to present the demo of our software to the client. That was truely a great experience to actually meet the clients , present the demos and listen to their issues and changes that they requested to be modified. That was my first corporate meeting where I truely learned what is software industry and is a tough place for timid coder who does not know how to value his work. If you want to make money from your work then you don't have to wait the otherone to appreciate your work, rather you must force him to believe that the work you did was tough and and valueble . Because the person on the other side of table is gonna be tough on paying you every single rupee from his pocket. It becomes tougher if you are a small company and are dealing with a large one.

In our case also we have been working for them without any payment without the assurance that they gonna approve it when complete.

This girl has got guts...

Last year we heard of a 16 year old boy who convinced his parents to allow him to dop out from school so that he can concentrate on his professional gaming career in Guitar Hero...

Now we have another teenager .. but this time a girl ... who has decided to drop from school so that she can concentrate on her proffessional counter strike career.

Sophie 'inzane' Regnér, one of the Pink Zinic's, has decided to leave school due to being unable to concentrate fully to her academics. She decided that it would be better for her proffessional career that she drops from school and focuses on counter-strike. She want to be a full time Counter-strike player. inzane who is 17 years old also does modelling for her friend.

Former MYM.girls , Pink zinic who has announced their participation in dreamhack summer 2009 is a proffessional counter-strike team of some of the best female e-athletes.

Another blow by this "1"

Jason Lake aka "1" knows how to be number 1. This time Jason Lake has

proved that he can do anything to be number one. Brand Complexity no

doubt means to be best wether its the 1.6 scene or the source complexity

has proved itself.
So this time Lake instead of making a new team and taking it to the top complexity gaming has simply bought the already top team . Yes ! Complexity had bought all the contracts of x3o , which I think is currently top team of America.

So the new coL will be :

Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman
Ryan "Ninespot" Bell
David "savi0r" Park
Jeff "hero" Mettetal
Derek "dboorN" Boorn

Old school expels its oldest kids !

In a very much expected event the Complexity Gaming has a announced release of its CS 1.6 squad. After very poor peroformance by the team which left them just as a mediocre team from USA, they were not able to gain rights to play in any of the recent International tournaments. Jason Lake said he was very disappointed by this and the brand Complexity was not defined by this team.Complexity currently ranked 9th in ESEA league has an All-star squad of some the mmost experienced e-athletes.But since their induction after the fall of CGS they have never been able to give performance that would be expected from a team like that.
The rooster contained :
  • Justin "sunman" Summy
  • Mike "method" So
  • David "zid" Chin
  • Sal "Volcano" Garozzo
  • Erik "da_bears" Stromberg

Statement from Lake posted on complexitygaming.com.
"We feel an integral part of this rebuilding process is the construction of a championship caliber Counter-Strike squad worthy of representing the world’s best gaming community: the coL Community. We will not rest, nor be satisfied, until we once again find the championship combination of players that possess the traits necessary to earn a long standing tenure with our organization and make our fans proud. With that being said, most of our research has already been conducted and we expect to announce the new roster very soon."

The new Complexity roster is expected to be released in the coming days as Jason Lake that the research for new squad has been carried for a while and the draft will be announced soon.
The complete announcement by Complexity Gaming can be read at http://www.complexitygaming.com/index.php?c=news&id=902

Moreover Sal "Volcano" Garozzo has announced retirement from Proffessional Gaming because he has found a full time job (for those who don't know he has a degree in Computer Science).

Thanks to Valve !!

Its really cool to know that Valve has released another pack of updates to the best game of the world. These new updates will greatly improve the gameplay of CS 1.6 because most of these update are for the bugs that have been nightmares for the competititve gaming for years, which gave birth to a large number of disputes both on LAN and internet.
Though the Valve took back all its updates that were part of its recent attempt to abolish crouch walking due to huge negative response from fans around the globe. We hope Valve will come with some other way to abolish this extremely exploited part of game which will be accepted by fans too.

In the latest updates Valve has -
* Rolled back recent silent walking exploit fixes as we investigate less impactful ways of preventing the bug* Adjusted bomb bounding box to prevent silent plant exploit* Fix to eliminate or significantly reduce "flashbugs"* Fixed status icons (buy zone, bomb zone, etc) disappearing when starting a recording, or issuing a fullupdate* Prevent creating aliases using the same name as existing cvars* Rate limit fullupdate and some other commands to prevent spamming* Fixed an issue with grenades where they could go into an area and bounce infinitely, causing the server to choke and or crash

Many of these updates to 1.6 have been a long time coming, and also hopefully will have a positive impact on the competitive scene, the removal of flash bugs and silent planting will greatly reduce possible disputes in both online and LAN play, along with the reversal of the botched fix Valve implemented last month for crouch hopping should improve competitive play at all levels.Other updates such as the nade bouncing fix and the buy zone when recording fix are sure to be much appreciated and it's nice that someone at valve took the time to fix some of these old bugs, hopefully with continued support by Valve 1.6 will keep becoming a more bug free game for all of us to enjoy for many more years to come.

Offscreen bloodshed stains Counter-Strike

This is a consequence that is always been talked about by people. Video games turn gamers violent. In Novosibirsk, Russia, a simple one on one game of Counter-Strike ended in the brutal murder of a seventeen-year-old by his fourteen-year-old rival. This is indeed shocking !!!

According to the investigation report on the Novosibirsk Prosecutor’s Office website, the two boys had met at a local cyber café to play Counter-Strike together. Alexei, the older of the two boys, had continuously defeated his younger rival which led to several fights breaking out, only to be broken up by the café's administrator. During the night, both boys were drinking alcohol and continued to play the game, despite their rapidly degrading relationship.
After yet another defeat Alexander decided to take revenge on Alexei.

With his another 17-year-old friend he waited outside until around 3 a.m. when Alexei finished playing and left the club. Then Alexander hit him with a brick on the head, and beat him to death. The half-buried body was discovered the following morning by residents. In court the killer testified that his older friend just stood by and watched the murder. He was found guilty and sentenced to four years’ imprisonment at a penal colony for minors.

This shocking event will surely lead to another debate about cons and pros of Video Games especially one that deals with violence and bloodshed.

Flashbug can be removed from CS 1.6 in near future

In the official CS 1.6 BETA Forum, Valve developer Toni Sergi has posted that he has found a possible fix for the infamous flash bug that has plagued Counter Strike for years. The developer apparently was able to do a very quick fix for this problem. Valve has come under fire in recent days for its patch to fix "Russian Walking".

The "flashbug" caused the flash grenade to effect players in areas where it should not and has been the cause of many disputes in competitive CS over the years. The bug was so important to the competitive community that "flash bug fixed maps" were used by most leagues and professional organizations. No estimated time for when the fix will be implemented has been given.

Below is a snippet from the posts by Valve developer Toni Sergi.

"Okay, I just worked out a potential fix; it at the very least fixed THAT one, it _should_ fix all of them though."

"I read the thread, went for a smoke, had an idea for what's causing it from the youtube video tested it out unmodified to duplicate the bug (by making the flashbang not explode for 20 seconds so i could get into position), went 'hmmm..', made the change to attempt to fix it, went in and tested again, no flash in tunnel. but i can still be flashed under normal circumstance." -Toni Sergi

I feel so lonely.....

Lonely am I
jim foulk

Lonely are the nights
Lonely are the days
Lonely am I, in so many ways
Lonely are the seasons

Lonely are the years
So lonely am I, that it brings tears.
Lonely is this place
Lonely is my life

Lonely am I, that I reach for a knife
Lonely is this court room
Lonely is my sentence

So lonely am I that I ask for repentance.

Major Update in Counter-Strike

Valve has released a major gameplay update in Counter-Strike . The update has faced heavy criticism by the community. Cries of "CS is dead", "I'll never play again" and "PLEASE ROLL IT BACK" are being heard community wide.

This update tends to remove the crouch walk exploit of the game. Sound has been given to any jump motion. Moreover the motion of a player will slow down whenever he presses the duck key. This would make a significant change to established competitive gameplay as many players and teams utilize the secrecy of silence during gameplay. Though there were some bugs in it which were removed by another update.
This new update primarily addresses an issue concerning the jump sounds in the game. It contains two fixes for the update released just the other day.
• Fix the wrong sounds being played on jump when moving to different surfaces
• Fixed crash in the spectator UI when hitting tab
Hence now this anti crouch walking update has no bugs also and seems to completely remove crouch walking or so called russina walk from game.
As far as I think this update will improve the gameplay as crouch walking was essentially a bug in itself which must be removed. Kudos for Valve for this great update. Though the jumping noise will be a nuisance in beginning but players will be accustomed soon to it. Similar was the frenziness in people when Valve released its update to abolish bunny-hop(Which was much easy at that time and a person could do it by merely pressing his +jump key continuosly). This update just improved the gameplay and same will happen with this new update.

Numb..

I Hate this world..

Its all about me.......

Thats right ...its all about me. Everything that I did and I am doing or I will do is all for me. I dont care for others . It doesn't matter what he thinks or what he expects, because all that matters is me..its all about me. Dont even give a shit to this crap..but nothing can change it . Its always been like this and it will be.

I am smart enogh to take my steps and live my life. Rather I think I am smarter than you are. Though you hellucinate of your smartness and supiriority but thats not true folk. The truth hurts...

I wont tell you what I am upto..becuase then you will try to stop me..because you are jealous of me..you fear me... accept it !! Thats the truth !!

Even I dont want to hinder my path..so I won't tell you where I am heading untill I reach there. You will surely know ..what are my plans, but not before they executed. Just sit back ..wait and watch me . This must be the way friend..
"FRIEND" ..aah.. I call you friend . But in reality no one is my friend atleast not you. I know you think the same about me .Neither me nor you know what a friend is ..and we never try to know. Because all that matters to me is all about me.

I tell lies and if I can't then I simply hide the truth, because the truth may hinder my way to my objective as you are always ready to grab my trophy. I perpetuate and hide reality because if you get to know it ..then it may harm me.Remember only one guy can climb a ladder at once, and I dont want you to be the one before me. So I hide the ladder till I climb it.You are such a dork that you can't see how I am manipulating you.

We may name our relation to as that of friendship, but this is life - pure competition . Every Man for himself..And its all about me......................

After MYM that stopped all its operation, some of the best e-athletes of the world were rendered homeless, and among them was the veteren WC3 squad of MYM, that declared no matter what happens they will stay together is now part of Evil Genuises. Today, they will officially join the forces of Evil Geniuses, together with their manager Cassandra. The announcement was made by Evil Geniuses' owner, Alex Garfield, on the Live on Three show.

"I'm glad that I can finally announce that I will be part of Team Evil Geniuses from now on. Team EG has had a strong position in North America so far, and now they're looking to expand internationally. That's great news for me, because I was looking for something new already," said Schenkhuizen, the new EG.WC3 captain.

Giving hints for a solid partnership for the future, he continues: "It's incredibly exciting that I can be working together with EG as I plan my future for the coming year(s). Having a great new spiffy looking website, EG's already made at least one wish come into fulfillment for me."

"This is truly a great day for the Evil Geniuses brand, organization, sponsors, and players. Today we welcome a new division full of internationally renowned talent, and players who have already accumulated dozens upon dozens of landmark results," said Alex Garfield, Executive Director of Team EG. Dmitry 'Happy' Kostin
Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen
Rene 'Ciara' Krag

Will e-sports survive 2009 ?

Since the beginning, this year has been unfavourable for e-sports. The last few days of 2008 saw the downfall of mighty CGS, which brought an end to one of the most anticipated e-sport projects. Though a large community took it as victory of 1.6 over source, but what I think is that it was big defeat for professional gaming.

Then came 2009, with the winds of recession, which led to backing-off of sponsors, as they planned to cut their un-necessary expenses to prepare themselves for recession. With the calendar loosing its few first events, and surely more events could be cancelled. No doubt e-sports is all about sponsors. No sponsors means no e-sports. In the beginning of this year AMD declared it will no longer finance MTW , which used to be a very old alliance. NVIDIA showed its inability in supporting ESWC, Samsung reduced funds for WCG, due to which company refused to organize European Cyber Games this year, these all are a blow to this industry.

On April 5th, ESWC announced that the Commercial Court of Paris had approved a motion to liquidate its business. The company has ceased all operations . Although Games-Services has confirmed it is ready to “organize the potential trade-in or resale of the company’s assets”, the ESWC is most likely - 99,9% to be precise - dead. The company has collected huge debts worth over a thousand euros and that cools down interest from any possible purchaser. That means ESWC is History.

And even the ESL - touted by many as the main pillar of e-Sports nowadays - seems to be suffering the effects of the financial climate. In fact, the ESL has yet to pay the prize money of the European Nations Championship and the Extreme Masters Global Challenges.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the EPS Scandinavia Finals have been postponed because of "unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances." A rearranged date has yet to be announced.

When looking at the seven members that compose the G7 federation, one can see that three of them - Meet Your Makers, mousesports and Evil Geniuses - proudly exhibit Intel as partner.
In fact, the U.S. company is also the ESL's head sponsor. So can imagine what would happen to today's e-Sports if Intel - which announced last week it would cut up to 6,000 jobs – takes back all financial support from these organizations.

MYM…around end of February ES Nation which is the funding agency of MYM, fired its 21 employees and then after a fortnight, on 17 march came the press releases stating that ES Nation has ceased all its operation, leaving few of the best e-athletes homeless. It didn’t even pay the last two month salary to its player before ceasing its operation. This has discouraged a large community to step back from professional gaming. Even professional like Lucifer of MYM Warcraft team, lurppis from crack clan retiring stating that there is no more stability in this business.

All these mark the beginning of a dark age for professional gaming, where the battle is not for growth but for survival. E-sports today may be weaker when compared to two years ago because of the financial climate. However, if the involved parties are able to cope with the current crisis and find new ways to do business, then tomorrow will only bring a stronger e-Sports.

The gameboys are ready for face-off

In another shocking news of 2009 coL has announced the acquisition of the JMC 1.6 roster as their new starting lineup for 2009.
If you follow the e-sports news than you must be aware that the JMC already had a 3D effect in it. Now Jason Bass and Alex "Jax" Conroy are co-owners of complexity gaming.. Jason Lake sems to be ready for the all new 1.6 arena in US.

As for his selection of JMC as their new squad, Lake cited "The combination of attitude, work ethic, selfless play and raw skill that this roster possesses will give our fans one hell of a fun ride in 2009. It will take them some time to get back into 1.6 form, but this organization is patient and relentless".Confirming that Conroy would place focus on managing the new lineup, Lake stated, "Alex will do what he does best and keep them in top form. I'm very optimistic. With the incredible support Creative is giving us, I think you're going to see these players become bigger stars than people ever imagined".

Talking about the line up,now complexity boasts of :
Justin "sunman" Summy
Mike "method" So
David "zid" Chin
Sal "Volcano" Garozzo
Erik "da_bears" Stromberg

With an intersting lineup of old complexity guys at EG and a bunch of 3D guys at complexity..we are going to have an interesting year to go ...

Col is now EG

In a press release on 14th december, Alex Garfield, owner of the Evil Geniuses' organization, announced a historic team shuffle. The new team goes like this :

  • Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert
  • Danny "fRod" Montaner
  • Matt "Warden" Dickens
  • Tyler "Storm" Wood
  • Corey "hanes" Hanes

Shocked !!!! Yah man EG has hired 4 of the Col guys to be part of their CS team. After the downfall CGS (no doubt source sucks !! and I knew it was gonna happen some day), it was obvious that Col was goin to return to 1.6, And here they are.

The basic outline of this team as told by frod in an interview will be :

  • Warden : no doubt he is the cap, as expected warden is the strat caller and he will also will be playing his role as an aggressive gunner.
  • Frod : The star of stars ..the prime AWPer.
  • Storm : Will continue to support the team with his rifle skills.(He always remind me of the colt obsession).
  • Hanes : Known for his fast acrobatic movements is another gunner for the team.
  • Nothing : the young-blood.. he will again be an aggressive gunner.to what he calls as "Runnin and gunnin".

When asked about Rambo not being the part of this new team frod responded "Our team has always had a formula and certain way we approach the game in terms of strategy, teamwork, and etc. This has been a defined formula that we as a team know is proven to work, going all the way back to the success of United 5 in 2003. We have always had every member of the team follow their certain role, and in doing so we feel we are most successful. Ron was a great player, but he didn't fit well with the formula, nor did he adjust to it, which made things difficult sometimes".

We hope Nothing fits well as United 5. Even Nothing was happy with his new team-mates showing a slight negative response for old EG.He commented "It just wasn't working out. As much as I liked those guys, we weren't seeing eye to eye anymore and I'm looking forward to playing with the new EG players."

Now when this great line up is ready we hope they rock the world. Regarding performance no one must doubt them. They are few of the most senior players in the e-sports scene. Regarding 1.6 .. its their true game. They stood second in CEVO 9 and won CGS Pro-am 1.6. And that was when their main focus was on source . Now hope they shine again ...

Best of luck Col ..ooops!! Sorry .. EG

Best of luck for 2009.

What is Temperature inside hell ???

A thermodynamics professor had written a take-home exam for his graduate students. It had one question:
May 1997, Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II Final Exam Question: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with truth.
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:
"First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell.
Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
Case 1: If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
Case 2: If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Theresa Banyan during my freshman year, "it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT Succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then case 2 cannot be true. Thus, hell is exothermic."
The student got the only A

Counter-Strike Maps

Due to my immense exposure to counter-strike..I do lot of technical stuff related to counter-strike.And designing new counter-strike is somthing I love doing. I have made many counter-Strike maps. Some of them are
  • eP_m4a1 : Dedicated to Clan eP,This is small combat map ,each player is given a colt-m4a1,an armour and a pistol. The target is to eliminite opposite team. This map is very helpful in increasing your skills on maverick, and is a fun play for 2 to 6 players. Thanx to my team-mate SataN for giving idea for this map. Download
  • afk_6killer_nogrens : The concept of this map was brain-child of my another team-mate RuuD.This is a modification of most played map of IT BHU..afk_6killer. Its very frustrating when people use excessive grenades in this map.And hence this is the map for those who love to frag by bullets . Download
  • fy_saket : I thought to mention this map becoz this was my first map.Though its just a single square room, meant only for two players, But then also it is a funfilled map.So do give it a try. Download

There are few other maps that I am thinking to implement but not able to do so sue to some other commitments. de_mininuke_a and de_minidust2_b are two of them.

..The ballad of square root of 3..

I fear that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
A three is all that's good and right
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath a vicious square-root sign?
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick
With just some quick arithmetic
I know I'll never see the sun
As 1.7321
Such is my reality
A sad irrationality
When, hark, just what is this I see?
Another square root of a three
Has quietly come waltzing by
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
And with a wave of magic wands
Our square-root signs become unglued
And love for me has been renewed
